Vaishya Tekri Stupa

  • Spanning 350 feet wide, this black murum and brick mound is linked to Emperor Ashoka’s consort Devi.

  • Situated along the Shipra River, ancient astronomers designated Ujjain as Ozene and the primary zero meridian for spatial calculations.

 

 

Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM)
